Most college track and field stadiums are basic structures. Then there is the University of Oregon's Hayward Field, a 100-year-old facility that will soon reopen following a renovation that cost donors like Nike Co-founder Phil Knight $270 million.

Knight, an 83-year-old billionaire did not reveal how much the renovations cost, but from a The Wall Street Journal report, that figure appears to be well above the price of any other collegiate track stadium.
