Haywards Sporting Clube de Goa shocked JCT Mills, Phagwara, 3-1 in a 14th round encounter in the Coca-Cola National Football League in Ludhiana on Sunday.
Haywards took an early lead in the second minute when Jerose Oliveira dodged past Daljit Singh and scored.
But JCT fought back and restored parity in the 16th minute through Harvinder SIngh.
But worse was in store for the local team after the change of ends as Abdulalatif Sereki scored twice, in the 60th and 69th minutes, to complete the rout.
Though Harvinder Singh and Jo Paul Ancheri came up with some superb moves another goal remained elusive for JCT.
The match, played under flood lights, also saw some rough play with the referee sending off JCT's Musa Ali and Aniweta Louis of Haywards.
Both the teams played with ten players in the second half. The match also went on the boil on several other occasions as rival players were engaged in heated exchanges.
With this victory Haywards moved to 19 points while JCT remain on 22.
Promoted after winning the second division league last year, Haywards had earlier humiliated JCT 4-1 in their home match at Margao, Goa, on December 5.
