Manchester Utd too good for MLS All Stars

Manchester United [ Images ] turned in an impressive showing as they beat MLS All Stars 4-0 at the at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey, which drew a sellout crowd of 26,760, on Wednesday.

Wayne Rooney [ Images ] set up two goals as Anderson and Park Ji-sung [ Images ] put the English Premier League champions 2-0 ahead at the interval before Dimitar Berbatov [ Images ] and substitute Danny Welbeck completed the rout in the second half.

It was United's fourth straight victory over their opponents on their US tour.

Ferguson's side wraps its pre-season tour in Washington on Saturday against Barcelona [ Images ], in what will be a rematch of the Champions League [ Images ] final which the Spanish team won 3-1.

Galaxy midfielder and former United ace David Beckham [ Images ] nearly found the back of the net for the All-Stars, but United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard thwarted him in the first-half, and in the 88th minute his free-kick from 25 yards went just outside the left post.
