London Paralympics: 12 Indian athletes qualify

As many as 12 Indian athletes have qualified for the 2012 London Paralympics as the country finished an impressive second at the first Malaysian Para Athletics Championships, which concluded on Friday.

Eight Indians achieved A qualification mark while four made the cut in the B category, according Paralympic Committee of India.

Overall, India won 25 gold, 10 silver and three bronze, to finish second behind hosts Malaysia, who won 27 gold, eight silver and one bronze in the championship.
