Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 70 on Thursday and cricket captain Virat Kohli took the lead in wishing the PM.
‘Wishing a very Happy birthday to our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. @narendramodi@PMOIndia,’ Kohli tweeted.
World Youth Athletics champion Hima Das also took to Twitter to wish the leader.
‘Warm birthday greetings to Honourable Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi Ji. His leadership has been exemplary and his commitment to making India a greater nation is commendable. #NarendraModiBirthday #HappyBirthdayPMModi,’ she wrote on her handle.

Sachin Tendulkar shared a throwback picture with the PM and wished him a healthy and long life.
"Happy Birthday to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I pray to god that he will always protect you and give you a long life," he tweeted.
India opener Shikhar Dhawan and former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh also greeted PM Modi.
Dhawan tweeted," Wishing our Prime Minister @narendramodi a very happy birthday!"
