India's 'tennis sensation', Sania Mirza turns 29. Wish her!

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, who had a rollicking 2015 season, turned 29 on Sunday.

5 lesser known facts about Sania Mirza

Sania, who shares her birthday with mother Nasima, spent time with family in Hyderabad on Saturday and later flew to Mumbai to be with her friends.

It has been an extraordinary year for Sania as she won 10 titles, including two Grand Slams with partner Martina Hingis apart from retaining the year-end WTA finals title in Singapore.

The Wimbledon Trophy was her maiden women's doubles Grand Slam title. They later won US Open too.

She also became World No 1 in individual doubles rankings when she won the Charleston title and consolidated her position with continued success in company of Hingis.
