India’s Manasi Joshi made the nation proud with a stupendous performance at the Spanish International Para Badminton tournament on Sunday, winning all 3-coloured medals in different categories.

“What a delight to win gold in SL3 Women's Singles, silver in SL3 SU 5 Women's doubles with Mamiko Toyoda and Bronze in XD with Ilker Tuzcu at Spanish #Para-Badminton International,” Joshi tweeted on Sunday.

In the tournament played in Mallorca, she narrowly beat Thailand's Darunee Henpraiwan 12-21, 21-17, 21-19 to win the title.

In the earlier rounds she had beaten Poland's Katarzyna Ziebek with a 23-21, 21-18 and then overpowered Asami Yamada 21-15, 21-17.

She took home the doubles silver with Toyoda after losing to Norway-German pair of Helle Sofie Sagoy and Katrin Seibert, losing 19-21, 12-21.

Joshi is a software engineer, who took to para badminton after losing her left limb in an accident in 2011.
