I will go where people really want me: Jose Mourinho

August 22, 2012 12:40 IST

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has reiterated his desire to come back to the English Premier League, saying he would only join a English club where he would feel really wanted.

The Special One, who took the Premier League by storm during his three years as Chelsea boss, is constantly being linked with a return.

The Portuguese is the favourite to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United and Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.

Jose Mourinho"I will go where people really want me. When that moment arrives, they show me they really want me," The Daily Star quoted Mourinho, as saying.

"But I have to repeat always this, 'I am at Real Madrid. I like very much to be'. I want one day to be back in English football, yes. I always said that," he added.

Mourinho also revealed his success was partly down to his ability to immerse himself in a club, like a supporter does.

"When I go to a club, I wear the shirt, I feel the shirt like it's my first one or my last one," he said. I feel the fans as part of myself. I go to play against Chelsea and I feel (it), I go to Italy and I feel (it)," he said.

Real Madrid offer shock loan deal for Kaka to Man U in wake of Modric arrival

Meanwhile the Spanish champions have offered Brazilian playmaker Kaka to English giants Manchester United on a season-long deal as they prepare for the arrival of Luka Modric from Tottenham Hotspurs.

Galatasaray and Kaka's former club AC Milan have also registered their interest in the 2007 World Player of the Year, but United are the biggest draw for the Brazilian.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is giving the 30-year-old serious consideration but has fears about his form and fitness after so many injuries, The Daily Mail reports.

Kaka was an unused substitute on Sunday night as Madrid was held 1-1 by Valencia in their opening game.

The Brazilian's salary is close to the 250,000 pounds a week earned by Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney and, although Madrid is disinclined to let Kaka join a Champions League rival, his wages are a burden for them.

Kaka has struggled with injury since he joined Real for a then world record 60 million pounds in 2009 after six successful years with AC Milan, but he still managed to make 27 appearances in last season's La Liga triumph.
