Former football coach Constantine offered India job

The All India Football Federation decided to offer Stephen Constantine the job coach the Indian football team after the recommendations of the Technical Committee.

Stephen ConstantineConstantine, who had earlier worked as Indian team head coach from 2002-05, has been recommended by the AIFF Technical Committee headed by former captain Bhaichung Bhutia.

"All India Football Federation, based on recommendations of the Technical Committee, took the decision to give an offer to Mr. Stephen Constantine to become the Head Coach of the Senior Men's National Team and the U-23 Men’s National Team," the AIFF said in a statement.

"The offer will be communicated to Mr. Constantine by the AIFF General Secretary Mr. Kushal Das," the statement said.

The 52-year-old Constantine is currently the head coach of Rwandan national team.
