Federation Cup qualifiers to commence from Tuesday

The qualifying rounds of the 34th Federation Cup football tournament will be held in Jamshedpur from September 11 to 16.

The qualifying rounds will be played among six teams divided into two groups, organisers said on Saturday.

Winners of each group will qualify for the final round to be played in Siliguri in West Bengal and Ranchi from September 19.

While Kalighat Milan Sangha, Royal Wahingdoh FC, Mohammedan Sporting are in Group 1, Aizawl FC, Vasco SC and HAL are in in Group 2.

The qualification rounds matches will be played at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur.

The AIFF announced last month that the final round had been shifted from Assam and would now be played at the north engal town of Siliguri and the Jharkhand capital.
