Chelsea striker Mason Mount gifted his jersey to Shubman Gill on Saturday.

Gill watched as the English Premier League leaders thrashed bottom placed Norwich City 7-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The 22-year-footballer (born 10/1/1999), who scored a hat-trick on the night, handed the 22-year-old Indian batter (born 8/9/1999) his shirt after the match.

'@masonmount_10 Goals galore. Had a great time at the Bridge. Big thanks to @ChelseaFC,' Shubman tweeted along with a picture.

Mount is an admirer of the Indian cricket team and Shubman and spinner Washington Sundar in particular.

In June, he told Premier League India, 'I like the Indian cricket team. Whenever I have time, I watch highlights. Difficult to watch all games because of my packed schedule, but I know India has so many good players coming through -- Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar are two brilliant and exciting players. They have a very exciting team,' the Chelsea star had said.

Shubman was apparently at at Stamford Bridge with Sara Tendulkar, whom he is rumoured to be dating.
