Bopanna-Qureshi out of Madrid Open

Indian Davis Cupper Rohan Bopanna and his partner Aisam-ul-haq Qureshi, seeded fourth, were sent packing from the Madrid Open as the American pair of John Isner and Sam Querrey edged them past via Super tie-breaker.

The Indo-Pak combination lost 7-6(6), 4-6, 3-10 in the men's doubles quarter-finals of the clay court ATP Masters tournament.

The match lasted one hour and 31 minutes.

Bopanna and Qureshi earned 180 points each and split euro 20,100 for reaching the last-eight.
