Former England footballer David Beckham has admitted that he was not a 'world-class' player following his omission from Sir Alex Ferguson 's list of top players he had worked with.

Earlier this week, the former Manchester United manager had stated that he worked with only four genuine world class players during his tenure at Old Trafford, namely Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and Eric Cantona.

Expressing his views after being left out of Ferguson just 's list, Beckham said that he didn't mind not being included in the list, and insisted that he was happy to play for one of the greatest managers of all time, the Mirror reported.

He further said that he absolutely agreed with Ferguson, saying that there are only few players whom one can actually call 'world-class' and that he was glad to have had the opportunity to play with such players.

Beckham made his debut with United in 1992 and helped them win six Premier League and two FA cup titles during his time with the club.
