Saina bows out of Indonesian Open

Saina Nehwal squandered a good start and crashed out of the Indonesian Open though not before giving World No 5 Hongyan Pi of France a good fight in the second round of the women's singles of the Super Series on Thursday.

Third seed Hongyan rallied to beat the Hyderabadi 12-21, 21-18, 21-16 in 55 minutes to seal a quarter-final berth.

India's national champion allowed her fancied opponent to to hit back after failing to put her act together at crucial moments.
