Legends - Gerd Muller

Gerd Muller Gerd Muller scored goal after goal after goal. He found the net so often that he holds the record for the highest number of goals in Cup history. He notched 14 goals in the 1970 and 1974 editions.

Muller made his debut for Germany in 1966. He was so consistent in goal-scoring that by the 1974 Cup, he was averaging a goal in every match!

In the Bundesliga too, he was a permanent fixture on the score card, scoring for Bayern Munich and helping them register domestic and European triumphs.

That's why he was aptly called "Der Bomber".
