Inter must wait for title
May 10, 2009 21:14 IST

Inter Milan will have to wait at least another week to seal the Serie A title after drawing 2-2 at Chievo on Sunday.

Forwards Hernan Crespo [Images] and Mario Balotelli twice gave the champions the lead but superb strikes from Michele Marcolini and Luciano meant Chievo took another step towards safety.

Second-placed AC Milan can cut Inter's lead to five points with three to play if they beat Juventus [Images] at home later (1830 GMT). Inter would have secured the scudetto if they had won and Milan lost.

Fiorentina strengthened their grip on the fourth Champions League [Images] spot with a 2-0 win at Catania while fifth-placed Genoa drew 1-1 at Atalanta.
