American duo claim mixed doubles crown

American top seeds Liezel Huber and Bob Bryan claimed the mixed doubles title at the French Open [Images] on Thursday.

They beat U.S.-Brazilian duo Vania King and Marcelo Melo 5-7 7-6 10-7 (championship tiebreak) in an entertaining contest on Centre Court.

The win would have lifted Bryan's spirits as earlier on Thursday he and his brother Mike were knocked out of the men's doubles in the semi-finals.
