Everton have agreed a loan deal until the end of the season with Manchester City forward Jo, the Premier League club said on Monday.
The Brazil [Images] international joined City last year from Russian club CSKA Moscow [Images] for 18 million pounds but has struggled to make an impression at the club.
"Jo agreed personal terms with Everton today and arrived at Goodison Park earlier to complete the loan move ahead of the 5pm transfer deadline," Everton's website said.
Everton have been short of strikers with Yakubu, Louis Saha and James Vaughan all injured.
