Somdev Devvarman [Images] erased a one-set deficit to stun second seed Josselin Ouanna and make the main draw of the US $1,402,000 Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington.
The ninth seeded Indian beat his French opponent 2-6, 6-1, 7-5 in the second and final qualifying round.
He will face fellow-qualifier Yuichi Sugita in the first round of the main draw in the hardcourt event.
If he crosses the first hurdle, he will face sixth seeded Croat Marin Cilic [Images], who got a bye into the second round.
