Paes-Dlouhy, Bhupathi-Knowles ousted from Paris Masters

Leander Paes [Images] and Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] crashed out of the euro 2,270,000 Paris Masters after suffering straight-set defeats with their respective partners in the second round.

The third seeded Indo-Czech pair, after a first round bye, lost to Brazilians Marcelo Melo and Andre Spa 3-6, 2-6 in a little over an hour.

Paes and Dlouhy squandered two break-points each in both sets while their opponents broke them thrice.

The fourth seeded pair of Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles lost their second round match 4-6, 2-6 to Juan Monaco of Brazil [Images] and Rafael Nadal [Images] of Spain.
