It was an interesting week even though not getting into Wimbledon qualies..
After the ATP tournament at Queens, where we (with Mahesh Bhupathi) lost the doubles quarterfinals on Friday, I decided to play the tour event in Holland-- the Ordina Open-- on grass as I was not getting into Wimbledon qualies in singles.
Rohan Bopanna: ATP Biography
Saturday early morning I flew into Holland and the qualies was on the same day.
Luckily, I had a bye in the first round, which gave me a chance to rest a little bit before coming out there to play the second round and had a tough three set match but managed to pull that off.

I had a good eight hour sleep then came out fresh next day, qualified, and was drawn to play Martin Verkerk of Holland (in the first main draw match)!
Last time I played him was in 2003 Davis Cup in Holland which went on for over four hours and I lost that 10-12 in the fifth set!
So this was a good time to get some revenge.
I went on Monday for that match and then went on to win that but was a close one again.6-7, 7-6, 6-4.
Next round, I played Guillermo Canas but lost since I did not play that great.
But overall, it was a good week for me, winning some matches and getting some confidence playing on the grass before coming here to Wimbledon as I will be playing doubles main draw next week..
