Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] and Jie Zheng entered the semi-finals of the French Open mixed doubles after a straight sets win over Virginie Razzano and Rogier Wassen on Tuesday.

The Indo-Chinese pair needed less than an hour to win the quarter-final 6-2, 6-4.

Bhupathi and Zheng will take on the winner of the match between top seeds Katarina Srebotnik - Nenad Zimonjic and Kateryna Bondarenko - Jordan Kerr.

Earlier last week Bhupathi was ousted in the first round of the men's doubles. He and Mark Knowles lost to Ross Hutchins and Stephen Huss. The Indo-Bahaman, third in this year's ATP doubles race, lost 4-6, 4-6
