Leander Paes [Images] and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy prevailed over Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] and Mark Knowles in the super tie-breaker to breeze into the doubles semi-finals of the US $ 2,615,000 ATP Rogers Masters in Toronto.

Paes-Dlouhy, seeded seventh edged past fourth seeded Bhupathi-Knowles 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 in one hour and 15 minutes in the quarter-finals of the hard court event.

Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Knowles were playing their first match of the tournament after getting a bye in the first round and a walkover in the second round.

The Indo-Czech pair did not face a breakpoint in the first set and converted one of the four they got on their opponents' serve to race away with the first set.

Bhupathi and Knowles fought back and drew parity after pocketing the second and stretched the issue to the super-tiebreaker.

They broke Paes-Dlouhy twice in the second set and dropped their serve on one occasion apart from saving one breakpoint.

However, Paes and Dlouhy came back strongly and unleashed a fierce attack thanks to a brilliant first serve display to script a brilliant win.

They now face second seeded Daniel Nestor of Canada [Images] and Serbian Nenand Zimonjic, who defeated Paul-Henri Mathieu of France [Images] and Mikhael Youzhny of Russia [Images] 7-6 (4), 6-4 in their quarter-final match.
