Indian qualifier Somdev Devvarman set up a second round clash with second seed Bobby Reynolds after carving out an impressive straight sets win over Jamie Baker at the USD 50,000 ATP Challenger tournament in Lexington.

Devvarman, who has won three Futures titles this season, pipped his British opponent 7-5, 6-2 in the opening round of the hard court event

Reynolds beat Japanese Toshihide Matsui 6-4, 6-4.

However, the Indian crashed out of the doubles as he and American partner Rylan Rizza went down 2-6, 6-3, 6-10 to Victor Estrella of Dominica Republic and Santiago Gonzalez of Mexico.
