India will stage a second Asian PGA Tour event near capital New Delhi from Feb. 20, organisers said on Tuesday.

Local pros Jeev Milkha Singh [Images], Jyoti Randhawa, Arjun Atwal and Gaurav Ghei have confirmed participation in the $400,000 SAIL [Get Quote] Open, as well as Thai duo Thaworn Wiratchant and Prayaad Marksaeng, China's Liang Wenchong and Singapore's Mardan Mamat.

The Indian Open, the other Asian Tour event, is held in October.

"Indian golf has finally come of age. The prize money in Indian golf .... is now commensurate with the quality that we have," Ajai Gupta, tour commissioner of the Professional Golfers Tour of India, said in a statement.

India also hosts the inaugural $2.5 million Indian Masters European PGA Tour event at the Delhi Golf Club from Feb. 7, with the prestigious Johnnie Walker Classic to be played in nearby Gurgaon from Feb. 28.
