Ferrari's [Images] Felipe Massa [Images] has ruled out doing anything differently this year despite being beaten to the Formula One title by team mate Kimi Raikkonen [Images] last season.

Massa ended the 2007 championship with three wins and in fourth place overall.

The Brazilian had led Raikkonen, who took six wins, for much of the year until mechanical misfortune struck in Ferrari's home Italian Grand Prix in September.

The Finn never looked back, winning three of the last four races to take the title by a single point from McLaren's British rookie Lewis Hamilton [Images].

"I had a problem in Monza and I lost the chance [of the title]," Massa told reporters during testing at the Valencia circuit on Wednesday.

"I don't think my championship was bad, I think my championship was very, very good and I would do the same [this year].

"To win the championship you need a quick car, you need to have a consistent car, but you need to be lucky as well. I think one of those points was missing for me last year and I won't change my approach this year."

Massa said he is pleased with the new Ferrari.

"I think we have found a lot of improvement already compared to last year's car -- we still want definitely more, but I think everything is going in the right direction," he said.

"I have to say the car is behaving very well," added the Brazilian. "I'm pretty happy on the balance, on the stability, on the traction, on the engine.

"I think the really important thing now is to do a lot of mileage as we know that reliability this year will be a very important point. But I'm very happy with how things are going for the moment."
