Spain's Miguel Angel Jimenez and Thomas Bjorn of Denmark have confirmed they will play in next month's Johnnie Walker Classic in India, organisers said on Monday.

Jimenez edged out the Dane to win the event in 2004.

Britain's Lee Westwood, Nick Dougherty, Ian Poulter and Colin Montgomerie as well as 2005 winner Adam Scott of Australia and Fiji's Vijay Singh [Images] have already confirmed their participation.

The $2.5 million event, co-sanctioned by the European, Asian and Australasian Tours, starts on Feb. 28 at Gurgaon on the outskirts of New Delhi.
