The all-women's team of Ami and Niyati Kacheria won the Sportcraft-organised Mumbai to Khandala Gulf Foster A Child Rally on Sunday.

Priyanka Sehgal and Sunit Singh finished second while the team of Manoj Nigam and Ashish Shrivatava was third.

There were seven all-women's teams among the 47 motorsport enthusiasts that entered the fray.

Seventy children from Our Lady's Home, a shelter for homeless children in Parel, Central Mumbai, were part of the teams taking part in the rally which wove its ways from the city to Khandala on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

There was no speed or racing involved and it was all about following the tulip chart and checking in at the various time controls.

The entry fees levied on the participants would be donated to the foster home which would go in helping the underprivileged children's school studies.
