Anand on his record triumph at Mainz

Viswanathan Anand says winning the Rapid World Championship in Mainz was an incredibly tough task even though the final scoreline did not suggest so.

World champion Anand crushed young Norwegian Magnus Carlsen 3-1 in the final to win the tournament.

'Every year it is tough, but this year it was incredibly tough,' Anand said.

The Indian ace has now won the tournament 11 times in it's 13 years of existence, including the last nine times in a row!
