Koneru Humpy settled for a quick draw against reigning World champion Xu Yuhua of China in the fourth round, played after a day's break, in the women's Super Chess Tournament North Urals Cup at Krasnoturinsk, Russia [Images].

Humpy and Yuhua did not struggle much after playing the opening game and signed peace in 20 moves. Humpy was playing black.

Battles on the other three boards were also indecisive, with players drawing their respective games, resulting in their positions remaining unchanged with three more rounds remaining in the category-19 event.

Top seed and defending champion Humpy has 1.5 points out of a possible 4. Woman Grandmaster Natalya Pogonina of Russia and Slovakian International Master Anna Muzychuk share the spot with the Indian, ahead of Pia Cramling of Sweden, who is just half a point adrift of the trio.

Yuhua, Anna Ushenina of Ukrain and Marie Sebag of France [Images] have 2.5 points each in their kitty, while Bulgarian Antoaneta Stefanova (3) is sitting pretty at the top of the points' table.

Humpy next plays Muzychuk.
