India's tennis sensation Sania Mirza [Images] was beaten by Russian sixth seed Anna Chakvetadze [Images] in the third round of the US Open in New York on Saturday. The 26th-seeded Indian failed yet again in her attempt to beat the Russian, as she went down 6-2, 6-3 to give Chakvetadze a place in the fourth round. Today's victory is Chakvetadze's fourth win against Sania.
