Spaniard David Ferrer has qualified for the season-ending Masters Cup featuring the world's top eight players on the men's circuit, organisers said on Sunday.

Ferrer becomes the sixth player to qualify for the Nov. 11-18 event in Shanghai after Roger Federer [Images], Rafael Nadal [Images], Novak Djokovic, Nikolay Davydenko and Andy Roddick [Images].

Several players, led by Chilean Fernando Gonzalez and German Tommy Haas, will be fighting for the two remaining spots at the Paris Masters Series tournament starting on Sunday.
