Bhupathi-Stepanek go down in semis June 07, 2007 19:30 IST
India's campaign at the French Open came to an end with 10-time Grand Slam champion Mahesh Bhupathi's [Images] exit from the men's doubles on Thursday. Bhupathi and Czech partner Radek Stepanek lost 6-3, 6-4 to sixth seeds Mark Knowles of the Bahamas and Daniel Nestor of Canada [Images] in the doubles semi-finals. The Indo-Czech duo, who had upset defending champions Jonas Bjorkman and Max Mirnyi in the earlier round, struggled on Thursday with Knowles-Nestor not giving them a look at even a single break-point. Knowles-Nestor will face Czech duo Lukas Dlouhy and Pavel Vizner in the doubles final. Dlouhy-Vizner upset fourth seeds Fabrice Santoro and Nenad Zimonjic 6-1, 1-6, 6-4.
