Third seeds Bopanna and Qureshi overcame a tough challenge from Olivier Charroin and Thomas Oger of France [Images], winning 6-3, 6-7(5), 10-8, to advance in the US $25,000 ATP grass court tournament on Thursday.

The Indo-pak pair will lock horns with the top seeded duo of Harel Levy of Israel and Lars Burgsmuller of Germany [Images].

Amritraj went down fighting 6-7(6), 5-7 to home qualifier Milan Pokrajac in the singles second round at the US $50,000 hard court event.

Also advancing in Nottingham was Mustafa Ghouse, in the doubles.

The second seed pairing of Ghouse and Briton Joshua Goodall defeated Brydan Klein of Australia and Purav Raja 7-6(2), 6-4.

At the US $50,000 Challenger in Lexington, United States, Karan Rastogi [Images] and Romanian Florin Mergea [Images] surrendered meekly, going down 1-6, 1-6 to Ross Hutchins of Britain and American Phillip Simmonds.
