Leander Paes [Images] and Martin Damm advanced to the quarter-finals of the men's doubles at Wimbledon after a straightforward victory over the United States pair of Scott Lipsky and David Martin on Wednesday.

The fifth seeds, who fired in 10 aces, beat Lipsky-Martin 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 in a one-sided 99-minute third round contest.

Paes and Damm had a rather easy run thus far, but face their first real challenge when they meet fourth seeds Fabrice Santoro and Nenad Zimonjic next.

Santoro-Zimonjic, who won the Rome Masters and Dubai Open this season, beat Czech duo Jaroslav Levinsky and David Skoch 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 in their third round outing.

Meanwhile, in the women's doubles, Sania Mirza's [Images] run came to a halt. The Indian ace and Israel's Shahar Peer were beaten by top seeds Lisa Raymond of the United States and Australia's Samantha Stosur in the third round.

They lost 0-6, 7-6 (4), 1-6, in an hour and 25 minutes
