JCT came up with a solid display to hold Durand Cup champions Dempo of Goa to a goalless draw a fourth round match of the 11th ONGC National Football League at the Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana on Monday.

Both the teams exhibited splendid ball control and weaved good moves but their efforts could not fetch the desired result.

With the league's leading players like Ranti Martins and Anthony Fernandes in their ranks, the Goans went into the match as overwhelming favourites, but the a superb performance by the home side's defence thwarted them time and again.

Following the draw, Dempo have seven points from four matches while JCT have five.

In another fourth round match in Kolkata, Mohammedan Sporting and HAL played out a keen draw, while in Mumbai Sporting Clube de Goa beat defending champions Mahindra United 1-0 in Mumbai.
