10-man Bagan hold Churchill

Down to 10 men for the entire second half, Mohun Bagan fought back through Jose Ramirez Baretto's brace to hold Churchill Brothers to a 2-2 draw in the ONGC National Football League, at the Nehru stadium in Fatorda, Goa, on Saturday.

Churchill Brothers, who dictated terms for a major part of the encounter, scored through Nicholas Muyothi (58th minute) and man of the match Odafe Okolie (66th).

Bagan, reduced to 10 men four minutes before the interval, fought back in the last quarter of the match and found the equalizer through goals from Baretto in the 72nd and 88th minutes.

The draw takes Churchill Brothers to 23 points from 16 matches, while the Bengal outfit has 20 points from 15 outings [See League table].
