Punjab and Sind Bank will take on Services in the first Super League match of the 62nd Senior National Hockey Championship at the Surjit hockey stadium in Jalandhar on Saturday.

Tamil Nadu will meet Indian Oil [Get Quote] while Mumbai lock horns with Air India in Saturday's other matches.

Twelve teams have been divided into four pools. Punjab, Indian Airlines and Namdhari XI are in

Pool 'A' while Tamil Nadu, Railways and Indian Oil are in Pool B.

Mumbai, Delhi [Images] and Air India have been placed in Pool C.

Pool D comprises Services, Chandigarh and PSB.

The winners of each pool qualify for the semi-finals, which will be played on November 2.

The final is on November 3.
