Saina wins Philippines Open

Saina Nehwal became the first Indian woman to win a four-star badminton event when she clinched the Philippines Open in Pasig City, Manila, on Sunday. The Hyderabadi teenager, ranked 86, defeated Julia Xian Pei Wong of Malaysia 21-15, 22-20 to win the women's singles title.
