Manaudou breaks 400m freestyle record May 13, 2006 00:07 IST Olympic champion Laure Manaudou of France broke the second oldest record in women's swimming when she clocked four minutes 3.03 seconds in the 400 metres freestyle at her national championships on Friday.
"I was quite nervous after all that had been written in the newspapers," she was quoted by saying by sports daily L'Equipe's website. "Frankly, I didn't think I would do it."
