JCT Mills, Phagwara, muffed rosy chances and finished goalless with Salgaocar Sports Club of Goa in a ninth round match of the 10th ONGC National Football League in Ludhiana on Saturday.

Though JCT players dominated the proceedings, they failed to translate the chances that came their way into goals.

The visitors, too, wasted a couple of scoring opportunities.

JCT missed the easiest chance of the game in the dying minutes of the second session, when their foreign recruit Marcos Pereira gave a parallel pass to Daljit Singh near the striking circle, but the latter took an erratic shot, much to the relief of Goan custodian Juje Siddi.

JCT have ten points while Salgaocar are on six points.
