Krajicek claims Den Bosch title June 24, 2006 21:31 IST Dutch teenager Michaella Krajicek won the Den Bosch women's title on Saturday, three years after making her professional debut as an unranked wildcard at the Wimbledon warm-up tournament. The 17-year-old, sister of 1996 Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek, beat Russian number two seed Dinara Safina 6-3, 6-4 for her third career singles title on the WTA Tour. "I had hoped to win a round here," Krajicek was quoted as saying by Dutch news agency ANP. "I never thought that I would be the winner in the end, this is crazy. Now I'm really ready for Wimbledon but it will nonetheless be tough to survive the first round." Krajicek faces Samantha Stosur of Australia at Wimbledon which starts on Monday.
