Ferrer beats Acasuso to take Stuttgart Cup July 24, 2006 12:22 IST Spaniard David Ferrer beat Argentina's Jose Acasuso 6-4, 3-6, 6-7, 7-5 6-4 to win the Mercedes Cup claycourt event in Stuttgart on Sunday. The 24-year-old ended a four-year title drought to claim his second ATP crown. He also beat Acasuso in the Bucharest final in 2002. "I tried to give everything and if I am going to have to die then I want to die like a man," said world number 18 Ferrer.
