Former Delhi hockey player dies January 28, 2006 12:35 IST Former Delhi hockey player Chaman Lal Malhotra died in Delhi recently because of some liver problems. Malhotra, who had played for Delhi in the 1960s, breathed his last on Wednesday, a press statement of the Jawaharlal Nehru Hockey Tournament Society said here on Friday. Malhotra also captained Railway Board team for some years. He was a member of the Central Secretariat team, which toured Afghanistan in 1967 and later in 1969. He was an active member of the Nehru Hockey Society.
