December 14, 2006

Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza returned to Hyderabad, her hometown, after an impressive performance at the Asian Games on Thursday.

She did India proud at the Doha Games, by making a great comeback after having a dismal year that saw her drop out of the top 50 in the world rankings.

She teamed up with Leander Paes to win gold in the mixed doubles event and won silver in the singles event.
