Arjuna award for Viren, Narang

Ace Indian hockey midfielder Viren Rasquinha and shooter Gagan Narang are among the Arjuna award winners for 2005.

Women's cricketer Anju Jain is among the awardees, while none of her popular male counterparts were nominated.

Paddler Soumyadeep Roy and athlete Manjit Kaur also figure in the list

Earlier, champion cueist Pankaj Advani bagged the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, the country's highest sporting honour.
