Ghosal shocks Ritwik for title

Second seed Saurav Ghosal upset top seed Ritwik Bhattacharya to win the PSA Squash tournament at the Otters Club in Mumbai on Sunday.

Ghosal won a grueling five-setter 7-9, 11-8, 5-11, 6-11, 11-10 (2-0).

In a match lasting 59 minutes, Ghosal, ranked 59th in the world, got off to a great start, winning the first two sets against the world number 43. However, Bhattacharya came back strongly to win the next two games to force the match into a deciding fifth set.

The fifth set went neck-and-neck before Ghosal pulled away from Bhattacharya to win the set 11-10 (2-0) and with it won the PSA Star One tournament.
