Sunil Chetri scored a fine brace to guide JCT Mills to an emphatic 3-0 victory over an out-of-form Salgaocar in the 10th ONGC [Get Quote] National Football League, at the Duler ground, in Mapusa, Goa [Images], on Friday.

JCT put up an inspired performance, dictating terms for major part of the game. Chetri, who combined well with Brazilian Marcos Pereira, gave JCT the lead in the seventh minute, when he fired home a pass from Pereira which Salgaocar 'keeper Juje Siddi failed to collect.

Seven minutes later, Chetri scored his second goal after receiving the ball from a Pereira free-kick.

Jaswinder Singh then sealed Salgaocar's fate when he volleyed home a Pereira shot which custodian Sidi punched.

Salgaocar, who failed to play as a unit, came close to scoring, but were unlucky as Fabio Passo shot hit the post.

The victory took JCT's tally to 13 points from 11 matches while Salgaocar, who suffered their sixth defeat, remain last on the league table with eight points from 12 matches.
