Two second-half goals by R C Prakash and Ranty Martins guided Dempo to their maiden National Football League title.

The Goa [Images] side beat Tollygunge Aggragami 2-0 in their last round match at Tilak ground in Vasco, Goa, on Saturday to emerge triumphant.

After a barren first-half, Dempo surged ahead in the 56th minute when Prakash converted off a cross by Clifford Miranda from the right, in the 56th minute.

Martins then assured Dempo the title by scoring in the 78th minute off Miranda's pass.
