The sixth seed Indo-Serbian duo lost to Michael Llodra and Fabrice Santoro of France [Images], seeded eighth, 6-3, 6-2 in the last four stage.
Paes-Zimonjic had defeated third seeds Bob and Mike Bryan in the quarterfinals.
Mahesh Bhupathi [Images] and Todd Woodbridge had crashed out in the third round of the clay court event, which is a tune up to the French Open Grand Slam starting on May 23.
